A Huge Thank You to the Off Duty Fishing Series! 🎣
This past weekend (July 12th- 13th, 2024) the Off Duty Fishing Series, organized and founded by a group of dedicated firefighters, held their 2nd Annual Red Snapper Bash, which was a huge success!
This incredible event brought together fishing enthusiasts, first responders, and community members for a day of fun, camaraderie, and philanthropy.

The Off Duty Fishing Series is more than just a fishing tournament; it’s a labor of love created by firefighters who share a passion for fishing and a deep commitment to their community. Founded by a group of dedicated firefighters, the series aims to provide an enjoyable and competitive outlet for first responders while raising funds for various charitable causes.
Partnering for a Cause
Ryan Joyce, founder of the “Off-Duty Lifestyle” brand for first responders, has partnered with the tournament series, adding significant value and visibility to the events. Ryan’s brand focuses on supporting the unique lifestyle and needs of first responders, making the partnership a perfect match. Through this collaboration, the Off Duty Fishing Series has been able to support great causes around Southwest Florida (SWFL), making a positive impact on the community.
A Generous Donation to SWFL Heroes Foundation
We are absolutely honored to announce that the SWFL Heroes Foundation has been selected as one of the tournament benefactors! We recently received a $10,000 donation from the proceeds of their previous event, the Grouper Bash. This generous support goes a long way in helping us continue our mission to provide scholarships for aspiring first responders here in SW Florida.
