The Off Duty Fishing Series was originally started by Mike Werner, Alec Dilallo, and Ryan Joyce as a way to bring life back to the off shore fishing industry and give back to the community after the devastating effects Hurricane Ian brought to SW Florida. With the Success of their first event (First Annual Red Grouper Bash) they were blessed to be able to give out over $25,000 in cash prizes while also giving $15,000 back to help rebuild the Fort Myers Beach Community. They continue to help others by holding an annual two part series of tournaments to benefit different local communities and organizations like the SWFL Heroes Foundation.

As Local Firefighters and Charter Captains they are making a difference in our SWFL community, and they’re doing it in the most fun way they know how! If you’re a skilled angler and want to participate, check the Off Duty Fishing Series Website to register right online.

Location: Moss Marina, Fort Myers Beach, FL

Entry Fee:

$750 per boat (up to 4 anglers)
$150 for each additional angler

Included with Registration:

Eligibility for cash prizes
Two days of catered food at the marina
Tournament shirts for each angler
Captain’s Buckets filled with swag
Drink tickets for each team

Prizes:

Guaranteed $5,000 cash prize for 1st place
Additional prizes based on number of entries

Format:

- Captains’ Meeting: Evening of June 26 at Moss Marina (mandatory for one team member)
- Fishing Days: June 27–28
- Weigh-In: Teams submit their two largest red snapper for scoring
- Winners announced post-weigh-in on June 28
