Zion exemplifies the core values of the SWFL Heroes Foundation through her dedication to community service and pursuit of excellence. With a passion for serving others, Zion has been actively involved in both the Criminal Justice Academy and Public Safety Academy, demonstrating a commitment to her future career path. Additionally, her participation in community-building activities, such as Kids Day at Barron Park, highlights her altruistic spirit and desire to make a positive impact on her community.

Empowering Our Future Heroes
The Southern Swamp Gala, a highly anticipated annual event hosted by the SWFL Heroes Foundation, brought together the entire community and business partners for an evening of music, dancing, entertainment, and philanthropy. A special performance by Grammy award winning country music artist, Billy Dean, was one of the highlights of the evening, along with Nashville’s finest Lower Broadway performers!
Beyond the festivities, the primary focus of this event is to raise funds to provide scholarships to our future heroes throughout the year. Through the collective efforts of sponsors, donors, and attendees, the foundation reaffirmed its commitment to supporting aspiring first responders and honoring the legacy of Julian Keen.
