ABOUT Billy Dean
Born in Quincy, Florida, Billy Dean emerged as a musical force at the age of eight, singing with his father’s band, the Country Rocks. A triumph on Star Search in 1988 catapulted him into the country music scene, leading to a Gold debut album, “Young Man,” in 1990.
In 2017, Billy was inducted as a member of the Florida Artist Hall of Fame.
Billy’s journey also includes a Grammy for Amazing Grace, A Country Tribute to Gospel, an album featuring Martina McBride, Allison Krauss, the Charlie Daniels Band and others.

Mark your calendars for the 6th Annual Southern Swamp Gala, an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, and community spirit.
This year’s gala will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Labelle Regional Sports Complex in Labelle, FL.
The highlight of the night includes a VIP dinner from 6-8pm, exclusively for sponsors and VIP tables.
Indulge in a delectable dinner by Crave Culinaire! while enjoying the company of fellow supporters and special guests.
At 8:00pm, the gates will open to the public for the live music and dance portion of the evening.
Get ready to hit the dance floor with music by Nashville’s finest Lower Broadway Artists, and of course, our special guest, Billy Dean.
