WHAT TIME? 11am – 2pm
DETAILS: Our 4th annual fundraiser promises fun, and plenty of hometown food, for the whole family! Proceeds from this event will go directly to SWFL Heroes Foundation, providing additional scholarships and support for our future first responders!

Our 4th Annual SWFL Heroes Foundation Fundraiser in Memory of our friend Julian “The Man” Keen is coming up on Saturday, October 7, 2023!
Once again we will gather in our parking lot for good food, good music and fellowship to raise money for SWFL Heroes Foundations Scholarship programs.
ABOUT THE FOOD
- Foundation members and volunteers will be serving up some pulled pork and swamp cabbage.
- Roy Reyes and his brother Roger from Ace Hardware in LaBelle will be grilling up some hot dogs and maybe some burgers ya’ll!!
- Two Peas Café will have a huge variety of desserts and will also offer that famous “Julian” Dill Pickle Club.
- Abby Gonzalez will be there making up her and Joe’s famous fresh squeezed lemonade.
- Dr. Rob Watkins and his crew will be serving up some refreshing Iced Tea.
- There will be several large coolers of water around for the taking to stay hydrated.
- And the best part! All food and beverages are for donation only!!
ABOUT THE FUN
- Sheriff Steve Whidden & The Posse will be performing some amazing music so be sure to bring your lawn chairs, and maybe an umbrella for shade and your dancing shoes!!
- Who knew the Doc can make balloon animals?? He does a great job and the kids always enjoy that.
- Once again we will have a crazy amount of raffle gift baskets that you could win. Tickets are 6 for $5.00 (tickets only available on event day)
- We will have a 50/50 (tickets on sale now at Two Peas Café) $5.00 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20.00
- We will have a 10 x 12 foot Shed for raffle donated by Charlie Barnes of Barnes Family Sales. The shed is on display now at Two Peas Café and the tickets are on sale now. Over $5000.00 value! Tickets are $25.00 each or 5 for $100.00
- We will have live auctions the day of the event. *I heard something about Guns and a 6 foot picnic table made by the students at LHS shop class! These people are crazy and no telling what else will show up for auction ya’ll!!
- There will be children’s activities provided by Miss Lisa from Rothenhoefer Family Daycare. She always does a jam up job.
- Face painting will be happening too!
- There will be a Bounce House provided by Vargas Rentals (arm band purchase $5.00 unlimited for the day)
- Our local FWC, EMS, LaBelle and Felda Fire Dept’s will be on site.
Last year The SWFL Heroes Foundation awarded over $44,000.00 in scholarships and this event plays a huge part in that. Thank you all in advance for your continued support of such a worthy cause that is so near and dear to our hearts.
