The SWFL Heroes Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded to honor the remarkable life of Officer Julian Keen.
Officer Keen truly lived his life with intent. He added value to every person he encountered and cared deeply about his family, neighbors, and community.

The SWFL Heroes Foundation’s mission is to provide opportunities to dedicated, hard working applicants who are pursuing careers as first responders.
We regularly award educational scholarships to individuals pursuing careers as first responders.
This includes EMTs, firefighters, and law enforcement careers.
Providing these scholarships and supporting our future firefighters, law enforcement and EMTs at the beginning of their career journey is truly an honor. We appreciate everyone who volunteered, donated financially, worked an event, or helped in 2022 in any way!
Together we are doing our part to ensure a safe, healthy and thriving SWFL for future generations.

A total of $44,332.27 in scholarships was awarded in 2022!
I would say, without a doubt, we are carrying the legacy of Julian Keen, Jr.
